Top Secret Tuesday - Leviticus!

Greetings!
Your mission is to complete one of the following:

Pre-School:  Grab some washcloths, and pretend to clean up your dirty faces with them.   Have everyone put on an angry face, and wash it off with the cloth, replacing it with a holy face.  Repeat for a sneaky face, a proud face, and a greedy face.  Talk about how we can only clean our faces, but not our heart attitudes.  How did the people of Israel get clean hearts before God?
How do we get clean hearts before God?  Only Jesus is able to clean our attitudes and make us holy.

School Age:  Go to this link and print off the worksheet for the mission.  Then, your job is to use the decoder to reveal the message from God to us.  Compare the secret message to what God says about sacrifices from the book of Leviticus.

Top Secret Tuesday, Exodus 25-31

Greetings!
Your mission is to complete the following task:

Click this link, and then try to identify the following:

Sacrificial Altar
Altar of incense
Ark of the Covenant
Holy Place
The High Priest’s Breastplate

Anything else you notice ____________________________

Why do you think that God told the people to make the tabernacle out of gold, jewels, fine cloth, and bronze?

Why does the priest wear a fancy breastplate? (Ex. 28:29)

How come we don’t need to make tabernacles like the people of Israel did?

Top Secret Tuesday, Exodus Lesson 5

Greetings!
Your mission is to complete one of the following tasks:

Pre-School:  Read Exodus 14: 5-29, and then have the kiddos try to make their own Red Sea.  Put a small amount of water (in a 13x 9 pan) &  see how long you can keep the water apart by blowing across the top of it.  Compare that to separating a whole sea so that millions of people could cross!!

School AgeRead about the crossing of the Red Sea from Ex. 14:5-29, then complete the following:  Print off the song of praise sheet and use the decoder sheet (in your envelope) to see what the Israelites were saying about God after He saved them.
